Piping are made up of polypropylene PN-20 manufactured according to DIN 8077/8078 and Fittings PN-25 according to DIN 16962. BOR Plus manufacture pipes diameter from 16-110mm.

Pipes and fittings are jointed by the socket polyfusion method.

Pipes and fitting are approved for potable water by DVGW.

Compared to other PP systems, the distinguishing characteristics of BORplus fittings include:

Smoother transition at the fitting-pipe point of contact, reducing flow irregularities

Shift of the axis of symmetry in 90° elbows outside the fitting
(diameter range: 16 - 40 mm), directing the main stream of the
flow to a more rounded arch

As a result, BORplus ensures a threefold reduction of hydraulic losses compared to other PP systems.
